Happy Earth Day! I'm so thankful to live on this amazing planet filled with so much beauty. The little perfections of nature never cease to amaze me. Let's all remember to love and protect this place we are so lucky to live. 🌏
I remember feeling nervous when my sister dropped me off at the airport before this trip. It was weird. I traveled alone quite often and hadn't felt nervous in years. But there I was, heading to Greenland alone with no idea what to expect. I left the day after the bar exam so all I had time to do was take a quick trip to REI and shove as much crap as I could in a few bags. I hadn't made any plans or done any real research. I did see that many people just walked straight out of the airport with their backpacks and found a place to camp, which seemed...intimidating based on my lack of knowledge about the area. I managed to figure things out and the weeks I spent in Greenland were some of the best of my life. I often find myself reminiscing about these days and hope to return to at some point.
