Hey! Remember the time I got to meet my #hero the lady who whipped my 242lb ass in to shape? No? You don't? Yea, me neither because I blacked out, obviously nervous (hence the horrifying pit stains) 🤓 all I remember is crying and saying 'thank you' 10 X like a ginormous douche. Can you tell how terrified I am? Look at my face! 🙄 I can fake smile with the best of them, this 'deer in the headlights' look...not one of my best. @chalenejohnson I'm not a total fruit-cake. Ok, maybe a little. I should've had a pre-cocktail apparently. My #coolasacucumber rep is Out. The. Window. One for the record books since I definitely can't frame it. I was asked to give more tips for Forward Fold or Uttanasana.
So instead of trying to touch your toes while rounding your spine, use a strap to lengthen the spine. Always bend at hips and pull your belly toward the thighs. Think forward! You can always bend your knees if you have tight hamstrings
